TOBMA presents the First Annual Fundraiser for the Bicycle Messenger Emergency Fund (BMEF)!
Toronto messengers show their appreciation! In recent years a number of Toronto bike messengers injured on the job were assisted by the BMEF. This annual fundraiser is in support and appreciation of the BMEF that it can continue it's mission to help this underpaid workforce when probability hits the fan.
There are a lot of events beginning tonight and continuing through the weekend. Lots of fun stuff, parties prizes and excitement. Instead of listing it all for you here please click through to the event website, it's facebook page and it's beneficiary organization.

Remember this is a fundraiser for a good cause, so bring a few bucks to put towards it. If you can't make it to the event but still want to help bike messengers, click the link to the BMEF website above and make a donation through their Paypal. All donations, any amount, are welcome, needed and put to good use. All proceeds benefit messengers. The BMEF is run by volunteers, the organizations needs are provided for by the same volunteers, all donated money goes directly to assist messengers injured on the job. The BMEF is a registered 501c3 charity, please ask for a receipt for your donation if you need one.

Thanks to all the volunteers and sponsors that helped make this happen, and a big thank you to everyone for your donations to the BMEF!
