TOBMA May Meeting

The TOBMA monthly meeting for May will be Thursday, May 14th after work at 92 Queen Street East.

Meeting will begin between 5:30pm & 6pm and end as soon as the agenda is completed and open forum time is finished. To place an item on the agenda contact Marli, Mark or Bennett or go to 92 Queen East before that day and leave your agenda item with Jonah. Otherwise you can introduce your topic at the meeting after the agenda.

Icycle 2009, Feb. 21 at Dufferin Grove Park

Don't miss the exciting continuation of a Toronto tradition when Icycle 2009 returns this Saturday to Dufferin Grove Park! Bring your best spiked tires to race or get your balance on in the rubber race. Be sure to bring a few dollars for hot chocolate, cookies and other goodies from the Zamboni Cafe in the warm rink clubhouse. 

 

Hosted by The Bike Joint with Derek Chadbourne again serving as the Master of Ice Ceremonies this year will be more fun than ever!

Find out Saturday if Jim "The Ice Bear" Kuz can defend his title against all comers in an ice defying race to the blue line. Will he hold on against Brooks "The Ice Stud" Rapley, Alberto "The Ice Emperor" De Ciccio and all of the other super stud-ded racers? Maybe, maybe not...maybe YOU are the next King of the Ice! Come and see on Saturday Night!

There is an after party at The Bike Pirates at 1292 Bloor Street West beginning at 11pm after the racing and fun at Dufferin Grove is concluded.

6pm - 11pm 


Come one come all to the annual TOBMA dinner to celebrate the winter season and the holidays.


Dinner is free and will be served around 6pm, but please come at anytime in the evening, dinner is served until 10ish. Bring a few dollars if you'd like a beer to go with dinner.


This is a community event and is family friendly so bring the kids too! 


Bring a toy, new & unwrapped, if you can to support the TOBMA toy drive. These will be donated en masse to Sick Kids and there may be a group ride to make the donation, cargo bikes needed details to be announced at dinner. Thanks to Jordan & Marli for making this happen.
